Tall Tail Communications was born from a simple belief: every business, nonprofit, and individual has a story worth telling — and deserves a strategist skilled enough to tell it well. For Lindsay Tozer, MA, FCRM, BPMP, ECMS, that passion for storytelling started in childhood and has never stopped driving her work.

Communications runs in her family — with roots in public relations, marketing, and journalism. Lindsay earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications from Ohio University and her Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. She founded Tall Tail Communications in 2012, building on 20+ years of hands-on experience in strategic PR, crisis communications, branding, digital media, and government communications.

In 2025, Lindsay was activated as a FEMA Public Affairs Media Specialist Reservist, serving as JIC Lead and Interim Manager across multiple federal disaster deployments — including the current DR-4834-FL Tallahassee Joint Field Office. She has been rated Excellent across all FEMA core competencies and selected for leadership roles beyond her assigned position.

A decorated professional, Lindsay holds the 2026 Heroes Among Us Congressional Award, dual 2024 FPRA State President's Awards, and serves as FPRA State Vice President of Digital Media. She volunteers her communications expertise with the Service Dog Alliance of Florida, Jessie's Place Citrus, YaYAS of Citrus, and The Phil Royal Legacy.

Lindsay Tozer was honored with the Heroes Among Us Congressional Award — one of the highest recognitions a U.S. Congressional district can bestow upon a constituent — in recognition of her extraordinary contributions to communications, public service, and community leadership.

Dual FPRA State President's Awards

At the FPRA's 85th Annual PR & Communications Summit, Lindsay received the President's Award for Furthering the Profession and the President's Award for Leadership Development — and was a top finalist for the Wilton F. Martin Individual Communicator of the Year.

As Chapter President (2023–2024) and now FPRA State Vice President of Digital Media, Lindsay elevated the Ocala Chapter with new board roles, governance training, and conflict resolution workshops, while advising the state board on public records compliance and accessibility.
